Canisius comes in winners of three of their last four, with a loss the last time out against Manhattan.

CANISIUS HEAD COACH REGGIE WITHERSPOON
Reggie Witherspoon is in his second season leading Canisius, finishing as last year's co-regular season champion. Witherspoon was previously the head coach at Buffalo.

HAWKS AT HOME
Monmouth is 6-1 at home in MAAC play, and have held four opponents under 60 points per game in those contests.

CANISIUS ON THE ROAD
Canisius is 8-4 away from home this season, including a 6-1 mark in road MAAC games. They swept an earlier trip to New Jersey this month, topping Rider and Saint Peter's.

SERIES NOTES VS. CANISIUS
-Monmouth leads the all-time series 42-21
-Since becoming MAAC foes, Monmouth holds a 7-5 advantage.
-After winning three in a row in the matchup, MU has now dropped the last three.
-Canisius used a strong second half to win the first game this season between the schools in Buffalo, 80-66.

FEWEST TURNOVERS SINCE 2000
Despite the loss to Marist, Monmouth turned the ball over just four times, the lowest amount in a single game during the King Rice era and the least since the Hawks turned it over four times in a win over Princeton on November 25, 2000.

DOUBLE-DOUBLE DIAGO
Diago Quinn has posted double-doubles in consecutive games for the first time in his four-year career. He collected his third career double-double at Rider and second of the season, going for 11 points and 12 rebounds. He finished the first half with nine boards, and it was his first double-double since New Year's Eve at Penn. Quinn followed that with a 16 point, 10 rebound performance against Marist, accounting for two of his four career double-doubles in one two-game weekend.

RUTHERFORD THE STEALS LEADER
Nick Rutherford leads the MAAC in steals per game and total steals during conference games, snagging 37 in MU's 15 league games to this point. That averages to 2.5 per contest, tops in the league. Overall, Rutherford's 50 steals for the season is tied for the third most in the conference.

QUINN CLOSING OUT HIS CAREER BY MOVING UP THE RECORD BOOKS
Center Diago Quinn is slated to play in his 130th career game against Canisius, only the fourth player in Monmouth's Division I history to play in 130 games. The three players above him were all former teammates, with Chris Brady the all-time leader at 135. Austin Tilghman is second with 132, and Justin Robinson is third at 131. Quinn is on pace to play 132 through the regular season. The center is also ninth all time in career blocks with 65, seven shy of Steve Bridgemohan in eighth. Quinn is 43 rebounds shy of reaching the top-10 in career rebounding as well.
